One mission, saving more lives
BloodWorld and BloodDonor have merged
Two organisations that spent years doing the same work have become one platform.
Founded 15 August 2011
BloodDonor.in
What this means for you
Both bloodworld.in and blooddonor.in now serve the same platform. Same donors, same blood requests, same features — whichever address you use. Each site keeps its own name and logo, because both names mean something to the people who have relied on them.
Your account still works
The same email and password work on both sites. Nothing was reset, and nothing needs to be re-registered.
One combined directory
Donors and requests from both organisations now sit in a single searchable pool, so a search finds everyone.
Your old links still work
Bookmarked BloodWorld pages redirect to their new equivalents rather than breaking.
About BloodWorld
BloodWorld.in was created on 15 August 2011 by NEAT — Natural Environmental Awareness Trust, an Erode-based NGO in Tamil Nadu. NEAT began as an environmental organisation, and extended its work to blood donation with a simple goal: to give people across India safe, appropriate and timely access to blood.
“We started this mission with one idea in mind — connecting people with heart with those who need life.”
Over more than a decade, BloodWorld built a donor network across Tamil Nadu and beyond, alongside a body of practical guidance on eligibility, blood facts and the donation process. That work carries into the merged platform.
